In a visit organised by NorthCare Charity, Oldham Athletic and Oldham Athletic Community Trust visited the Children’s Ward based in the Lucy Pugh Building at the Royal Oldham Hospital to spread some festive cheer this Christmas.

Liam Hogan, Peter Clarke, John Rooney, Ben Tollitt and Nathan Sheron all took time out of their day to say hello to the children at the hospital and to hand out some presents!

Chaddy the Owl also flew in to say hello, alongside CEO Darren Royle, Football Operations Coordinator Sue Bowskill and Callum Irving from OACT.

Karen Casper, Fundraising Officer at NorthCare Charity said: “We’d like to thank Oldham Athletic staff, players and Chaddy the Owl for visiting the children’s ward at the Royal Oldham Hospital.

“The joy the visit brought to the children, families, and staff was wonderful. The lovely gifts for the patients really did put a smile on their faces. The visit made a real difference to the wellbeing of our patients and staff and NorthCare is looking forward to working together with the Club on future projects.“
