From bake sales to fancy dress days, there are so many ways you can help children and young people fundraise for us. Your valuable support helps us fund innovative equipment, education, research and wellbeing support across our four hospitals and community services in Bury, Oldham, Rochdale and Salford.

By choosing us as your school’s chosen charity, we can work with you to plan and organise engaging and educational fundraising activities for pupils, staff and parents. We can also support you with fundraising materials.
From sponsored sports days and competitions to fundraising badges and bake sales, your fundraising events make a huge difference to the work we do. These events are also a great way to engage with your local community.
Our fundraising team would love to help you run an assembly presentation about the important work our NHS does to save and improve lives locally. This is a great way to engage children and young people with our cause, learn about the NHS or support your fundraising activities.
Fundraising not only helps children and young people empathise with a worthy cause, but also helps them develop skills that align to the curriculum. Enterprise competitions that challenge students to use ‘seed money’ to turn an initial sum into a larger amount can support business and maths learning. Creating posters, writing persuasive text and designing fundraising tools can be incorporated into English, IT and art lessons. We would love to hear about your ideas.
Get inspired
Children from Godfrey Ermen Memorial Primary School in Eccles donated more than 450 toiletries for staff and patients on the Critical Care Unit at Salford Royal.
The children collected the items during a non-uniform day to support those affected by the coronavirus pandemic in 2020.
They also recorded special messages for our NHS heroes as part of our Care this Christmas fundraiser, which was shared across social media.
