One of the best things you can do to promote your fundraising is to share your journey with your family, friends and colleagues. Your social media channels are a really good way to keep everyone updated when you hit your milestones or achieve a personal best in your training.

Examples of good milestones to share, to boost your fundraising, include:

  • When you create your fundraising page
  • When you’ve done your first day of training
  • When you have reached 25%, 50% or 75% of your fundraising target
  • When you have completed half of your marathon distance
  • When you have collected all of your auction items

Be sure to tag us on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn so we can share your updates!

Press and Media

Approaching your local newspaper or an online publication is a great way to get the word out about your fundraiser. We can help you with this when you register your fundraising interest. If you have already contacted the press, be sure to keep us in the loop via phone or email so that we can support you.

Photo consent

Make sure you get permission from anyone that you take a photograph of. You can do this by notifying guests through signs which state that you’ll be taking photographs throughout the event and to notify you if they do not want to be featured. You will need permission from parents before taking photos of children, preferably written.

Fundraising Resources

When you register your fundraising interest, you will receive downloadable assets, like posters and sponsorship forms, which can be customised for your fundraiser.
